    Very expensive housing.
  • Argos Center (RAR), Bulls2017 (guest) wrote 10 years ago:
Houses the Argos Dining Hall, "Fresh Food Company" -- with the demise of the Andros Center's "Bulls Den Cafe", the Argos Center is now the primary source of food for residents with meal plans on the north side of campus. The dining hall was renovated in the summer of 2014, sporting an entirely new look with much more seating space. Also situated in the Argos Center are exercise machines, a Study Lounge, and the Housing & Residential Education office. Residents of Castor, Beta and Kosove pick up their mail here, but not their packages.
  • Andros Pool, Bulls2017 (guest) wrote 10 years ago:
Renovated a couple years ago to extend the depth of the pool to 12 feet.
  • Andros Center (RAN), Bulls2017 (guest) wrote 10 years ago:
No longer houses the Bulls Den Cafe as that dining hall has been axed by USF after the Summer B semester in 2013 ended. Now there are only three Dining Halls -- Juniper Dining, Argos' Fresh Food Company and Champion's Choice. Residents in the Andros Complex will have to look elsewhere for sustenance. The POD Market/Ben & Jerry's is still open as of Fall 2014. Packages are no longer delivered here for Andros residents, but letters are. Study Lounge offers a large meeting space for students.

Old, rickety building that has been abandoned as of the 2013-2014 school year. No classes are held there, and the bathrooms are locked, so there is virtually no reason to come here unless you want to see a dumpy old building. Apparently when it first opened in the early 1960s, its construction cost over $1,000,000 (back then). Someone wrote "Satan" on one of the doors. At one point during the 2013-2014 school year, the staircase was accidentally left unlocked and it allowed for roof access. This security breach was quickly mended by the university. Rumor has it that some professors hold office hours here. The lighting, elevator and Wi-Fi are still active as of Spring 2014.

  • Yuengling Brewery, Gamma Ray (guest) wrote 11 years ago:
The Brown Bottle was the name of the hospitality room at the brewery from the Schlitz days. I was happy to see the Yuengling folks have maintained the room in the original condition as Schlitz had it. Brought back great memories of afternoons of sampling Schlitz products.

Sometime in the 1970's the girls of Gamma 4 East made up shirts that said "GIVE" in large block letters. Give was an abbreviation for Gamma IV E. The "Give girls" were among the most popular on campus.
