Aw man this is kind of sad news. I loved that coaster, so many fond memories of this park. The new attraction they have in its place seems neat though, I wish I could go back and visit it.

In response to the previous comment, LifePoint gathers on Saturday evenings and Sundays. The Middle School group has a separate service on Wednesdays. A civil engineer helped design the traffic loop and the design was passed by the Hunter's Lake community association. Before you judge the place, maybe you should go and visit once?!!

It's funny you mention about the basement. When I was living there a couple years ago, the elevator had gotten unlocked one day so it allowed access to the basement. Me and a friend went down there and searched around. It definitely looked like a fallout shelter, and had tons of old stuff in it. They seemed to be using it to store broken chairs from the dorm rooms.

Life in Canden Live Oaks where the motto is "Living Excellence" is no way NEAR what they claim to be. The staff is unresponsive, the walls of apartments are so thin you can hear your neighbor pee, flush, having sex, etc. Unattended children playin in the parking lots, not enough parking spaces, too many college kids, etc.

Skyride Building,

This building is the main terminal for the skycars in Bush Gardens. Up until the mid-1990s, it was also a terminal for the monorail, which gave a nice, liesurly view of the animals in the preserve section of the park. The monorail was removed to make room for the Rhino Rally ride and other encrochments on the preserve, and as a result half the building is conspicuously empty, and has been for about a decade now.
The line waiting for the Skycars is generally ridiculously long.

This is the midpoint of the skyride. Back in the 70s, it used to be a terminal as well, passengers could get off the cars here, but could not re-board. As it was seldom used, and tended to slow things down, it is no longer used for that purpose except in emergencies.
